Day 1

You arrive in the capital of the Göta Canal, Motala, and check in at the classic Motala Stadshotell Hotell in the city center. The package includes a visit to the Motor Museum located in Motala harbour. Here you can experience a nostalgic journey, a unique collection of cars, motorbikes, mopeds and contemporary clothing. At 6:30 p.m. a 2-course dinner awaits at Hamnkrogen.

Day 2

After breakfast you check out and then board M/S Kung Sverker in Motala harbour at 10.30. The boat trip takes you to the small canal town Borensberg and back. You travel via the old Motala Verkstad and the famous lock stairs in Borenshult and across lake Boren. In Borensberg you have a short break on land before returning to Motala. During the journey, the captain will tell you about the Göta Canal and its fantastic history. In Borensberg you have time to see the small canal town and the hand-operated lock. Lunch on board the boat is included in the package.
At 15.30 you will return to Motala harbour, then you will take your car and drive to Vadstena (approx. 20 minutes' journey). You will arrive in Vadstena and check in at Starby Hotell. A nice hotel with a restaurant, spa area and a nice summer garden. The hotel has free parking. In the evening, a 3-course dinner (excluding drinks) is served in the hotel's restaurant.

Day 3

After the breakfast, you will spend the day in the medieval town of Vadstena with a pleasant shopping street and historical surroundings. The package includes entrance to Vadstena Castle.
